Since the House and Senate have completed its work on the Inflation Reduction Act.  Thought now would be the perfect time to talk about the federal budget process.  I learned about the federal budget process when I was taking graduate level courses in congressional studies at the Legislative Studies Institute.  We had a guest speaker come to talk with my class about the federal budget process and the guest speaker was Stanley Collender.

The federal budget process begins with the President submitting their budget,  the first Monday in February.
